Open Mic
Was it just me or was there only a handful of people at open mic? That was a bummer but either way if you weren't there you missed out big time. It was really fun with your great poetry, Kohl shared some of his lovely work, Fry bread Mary shared of basket weaving, Grandma's for ganja talked about well ganja, Paco talk a funny personal story, and there was so many other good performances. One of the older gentlemen their shared of poetry written in their native tongue. It was absolutely lovely. I am so looking forward to helping plan another open mic because they are so very powerful. Thank you.

It wasn't just you. But the people missed out. You poem was actually pretty nice and the man with the violin sure lightened the mood. I would have presented if I had prepared but like you I also have very bad stage fright. Maybe next semester. Oh by the way if you go Sherman Alexie's thing, please bring a camera. :)
